Wonderful experience, because this facility has so much experience! I felt completely at ease leaving my mom here, where as the last facility I was scared to leave her because of the staff. Nurses are on the ball here, caring, knowledgable and attentive, which means the most to my family. The physician making rounds shows integrity and listens. All the staff is friendly. There is always something going on there and there are so many nooks and outdoor areas to sit with visitors. Dining is excellent, and visitors can eat meals with their loved one if they choose. I highly recommend this facility for your loved ones care!

I'm glad places like this exist, but if they aren't properly staffed it becomes a bad place to leave a loved one. The Oaks needs more trained personnel on their roster if they intend to truly fulfill the needs of their residents. The wait time for a response to a resident calling for help ranges from 2 minutes to 10 minutes. On more than one occasion, no one showed up for over half an hour. The nurses themselves are quite good, we really liked everyone that was working in our wing of the building. The problem is not how much they care, but how much they are able to care with limited staff. For the prices they charge, I'd expect a much nicer facility and better coverage with the nurses.

I started working here last year and love it. The staff loves the residents they serve. We have an outstanding life enrichment program. I highly recommend this campus to anyone in need of rehab, assisted living or secure memory care.

I work at a long term care facility in the area. I would gladly recommend The Oaks at Woodfield to anyone looking for short term rehabilitation or assisted living. The staff are always friendly and they are caring to their residents. The facility is beautiful! I would gladly send a family member here.
