Winter Village

DO NOT PUT YOUR RELATIVES HERE! Made an impromptu visit to see a family member here. She was starved and delusional. Hadn't been fed, cleaned, cared for in who knows how long. Had we not gotten there when we did she may not have lived much longer. When confronted, all we received were excuses. The State of Michigan will be receiving a complaint, attorneys will be contacted and she will be moved = IMMEDIATELY. You should be ashamed of yourselves!UPDATE - While I understand that you are only the 'apartment' you also provide the meals. Explain to me why my grandmother was served a sandwich today with cold, raw bacon? Fortunately, my mother was there to prevent her from eating it. If others eat it you are going to have a lot of sick people there. When my mother went to the kitchen to discuss the matter the chef, the response she received was 'What do you want me to do about it? In addition to my calls to social services, looks like the health department needs to be called.

Great Facility for Seniors

Staff friendly - the only thing is the building is too warm inside.

It is amazing to see Seniors who have gotten limited in their homes, move in and thrive! Enjoying delicious 4 course meals, activities, and having new friends to spend time with makes such a difference!

I love being a part of Independence Village of Frankenmuth! Our residents become our family. It's rewarding to meet with new families and help them transition to their new home.
