My grandmother was a resident at the Laurels of Coldwater for 8 years or more. She loved it there, it felt like home. I was very pleased with how she was taken care of. The Laurels of Coldwater was there for my grandmother and cared for her until her passing. The staff was very friendly and caring especially when it came to her particular needs. She had dementia which is a disease very hard for loved ones and everyone around her to deal with. But the loving and caring staff at the Laurels of Coldwater did exactly what they are there to do. They took care of her and I am happy she was there.

I am in several nursing facilities every week and they have one of the nicest and caring staff of nurses and nursing assistants

The worst experience of my life. Patient care/patient experience was way below normal standard of care. Response time was quick because they arrive and turn off your light/alarm -stating they would return shortly with requested medications that were needed for pain control. Return time with medication was between 1 1/2 hours to 2 1/2 hours. This is not acceptable after joint replacement. Food was inedible. Checked myself out and get better care from myself at home with out patient therapy. Do not go here or send a family member here.Fyi- my roommate complained of the cold air coming in around her window, as she was freezing, at least 20 times with no help or concern. After her daughter called, I expressed her concerns along with my physical therapist - someone finally sent maintenance and part of the window was out of the frame letting in a constant flow of cold air. Sad. She also informed me that she couldn't have any visitors as she had a virus. Thanks.
