Oakmont Parkway Senior Community

Last year my stepdad told me that he is no longer going to live in his house alone (up in the thumb) and I had about two days to figure out what to do. I reached out and spoke to Sheila who was absolutely wonderful and I was scheduled that afternoon for a visit. Then I met Cyndi, the executive director at Oakmont Parkway. I immediately felt comfortable with this huge decision as I noticed all the residents approaching her during the tour asking for various items. She was calm and responsive to all their needs. That was a good sign to me. Almost a year in a half later, I still could not be happier. They have been handling the COVID-19 virus spread appropriately. Restrictions have been significant which has been appreciated. They have been forthright with information throughout this situation letting the residents and family know about potential contaminations, etc. In general, the food is excellent, the place is clean and they have a lot of activities (prior to the virus). I feel extremely fortunate to have found this place and would recommend it to everyone.

I attended an amazing 100th Birthday Party at Oakmont Parkway this past Saturday for a resident. I just want to say, I was very honored to be a part of this joyous occasion.

I'm a care giver for one of the residents that lives here. The staff couldn't be more caring and helpful, everyone wears a smile on their face. The food here is awesome! The other residents seem more like family to me, they are always asking how i'm doing. They helped me with a Birthday Party for my charge and he really appreciated all the people that showed up.

I have been living here at Oakmont Parkway for over a year and I love it here! I enjoy everything that they offer in a community.

I have met a lot of friendly people here. I feel safe and independent. I love singing Karaoke with my friends. We go out to many different places to eat as a group. Oh, and don't forget that we have Bingo three days a week. I love it here!
