Affordable and friendly. A real Godsend for my dad when we needed it.

The staff are nice and try to be accommodating. The nursing staff are helpful and kind and do keep an eye out and will contact me if they think my family member is sick or needs more medical attention. The food as well as the staff that serves it are pretty bad. The food looks and smells like reheated cafeteria food. I've noticed most goes in the garbage, and the staff isn't nice and can be pretty rude about any questions or requests. To the point the residence are conflicted about saying anything. I feel like food should be a priority in a senior living facility. This may be (or should be) the highlight of their day, and could even be their last meal, It should be better than microwaved fish and boiled brussel sprouts or a sandwich slapped together with only a piece of meat and cheese and no condiments or any veggies on it..

My grandparents lived in the little apartment types in the very back for years then moved to the main building where my grandfather lived until his passing. It's a nice place and the atmosphere is comfortable. I've seen some of the entertainment they bring in for the seniors and it seemed to help lift their spirits. The staff at the front desk usually was helpful and polite. The nurses are hit or miss. Some are there to collect a paycheck, some are there that actually care. The food in the dining room, not quite sure about as my grandfather complained alot about the menu but he also used to own a restaurant so... In my opinion it's quite expensive for intermittent senior care but I did enjoy visiting.
