My mother lived in the Allendale Nursing home for several years and went home to be with Jesus on Dec. 9, 2016. I was dealing with my own ill health during her stay and I can say I never had one worry about her care while she was there. The staff took excellent care of my mother and notified me immediately if there was ever a concerned regarding her health and safety. She never had a bed sore, had help when she needed it to eat and was spoken to in a kind and adult way always. I was completely satisfied with her care and would highly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for a top on the line care facility for their love one.

I was in the beautiful new facility for 18 days recovering from a knee replacement. It is set-up to accommodate walkers, wheel chairs and ambulatory patients. The rooms are very nice and the bathroom is amazing. I had no trouble getting around with my walker. You can eat in one of the 2 dinning rooms or in your room. Meals are okay but aren't always presented as nice as they could be. Tasted fine though.The staff were great. The nurses and all the others were there when ever you needed them. They were pleasant, smiling and always polite. My meds were on time and correct. The therapy staff were the best. I can't say enough good things about them. They were not easy on me but they also explained the exercises to me. If they had to modify them, they came up with the way to get them done. I reached all of my goals and walked out the 18th day. I am so happy that I picked this facility. I would highly recommend it to any one who needs their services.Thank you

The facility is beautiful but looks are deceiving. The staff try but they are so understaffed. The administrator is uncaring and rude to all.

If I could give it a negative review I would. I am not happy that my grandfather left this facility with MRSA and bronchitis!!!!
