We moved our grandmother up to Boston in 2018. She lived in the assisted living portion of the senior center up until her dementia progressed and had to be transferred into the Memory Care Unit (Wellspring Village). The Brightview staff, most notably Lisa Sabatino, the director of Wellspring Village, was a delight to work with. She is highly responsive, and genuinely cares for the residents and their family members. Even through the decline of our grandmother's health, the BVSL staff have been supportive and engaged with us through the hospice/palliative care process - checking in with the family and making sure things were going smoothly.

I would like to give this place no stars.. Mom was on the memory care floor and was treated great. until the day she passed.. She had a DNR as she had heart issues that couldn't be cured. My siblings and I knew what the outcome would be. We prayed that her passing would be peaceful.. it wasn't.. on January 26th 2019 she was getting ready for breakfast, A Male resident assistance was helping her get her shoes on when she passed out and was unresponsive( no heart beat) he called for help and although she had a DNR they resuscitated her and made the last 6 hours of her life painful ,as they broke several ribs. We trusted this place and they failed us and my mom. If you care about your loved ones, DON'T SEND THEM HERE!
