The Charleston Senior Community

Since they beg and plead everyone who works there to write them a review on how fun this place is. Here is my review. This place is terrible in working wise and living wise. None of management is professional at all everyone in management are racist hypocrites, they tell you not to do something but yet they do it I.E coming in under the influence they tell us not to but yet come in everyday intoxicated, they tell us not to be on our phone but yet all day their playing on their phones. There is a bunch of them who dont have degrees so half the time dont even know what they are talking about . they lie to the new incoming families and then turn around and not only scam them but the employees as well. I really truly hope this place gets shut down. This place is so depressing please do not bring your family members here. They will get fed raw uncooked, disgusting, food with roaches on the side! They treat us like slaves, they make us do stuff they wouldnt. They hide when they are needed and seek when they feel like it. Residents have been beaten a few times and management has done nothing they act like they dont care and will brush it off. So like i said dont even waste your time coming in and applying to work and also putting your family members in this disgusting place!

Privately owned and operated, being able to be nimble to each resident's needs. Provides top notch wellness to their residents!

I love working at the Charleston , the staff and management is awesome. Best place in Waldorf.

To say my time at The Charleston has been great would be an understatement. I enjoy my relationship with all of my coworkers, regardless of the department they work in. Most of all, I enjoy my involvement with all of the residents. They truly brighten my day, everyday!
