VICTORIA MANOR IS A NICE SENIOR COMMUNITY!!!!!

My in-laws moved to Maryland from New Hampshire, lived with us for a little while and are not living in Victoria Park. There seems to be a lot of issues in several areas and not sure why. I understand there is suppose to be a lot of upgrades made within the building and not sure where they are. Their apartment is nice, but they have had issues with flying bugs coming out of the bathtub drain, when showering the water does not drain properly and are in standing water while showering as well as in the bathroom sink. In the hallway, the carpet continued to get soaked with water, not sure where it is coming from, but mold was growing. The hallway carpet is still stained and needs to be cleaned or replaced. My mother in-law inquired about the country store that was to have been on the premises, but no such thing. Is this going to ever happen. This facility was the least expensive of all the places we looked at and close to us. The office door is always closed and there is a sign stating the office is closed. I knocked on the door one day when visiting, the assistant manager came to the door and said she doesn't keep the door open and puts the sign up with her office assistant is out of the office. One resident told me that was uncalled for because the residents have business they need to take care of. This closing is not at the office staff lunch time. I hope the improvements that are to be made through out the building are true and will be reflected when visitors enter the building to visit their loved ones in their apartments. Thank You
