The one star for this review is given only because unfortunately -10 (negative 10) stars is not an option here . This is the worst health care establishment I have EVER come across. If you value your life or the life of your loved ones and you want to live to see the next minute, day, month, year , DO NOT SEND THEM HERE!! The level of un-professionalism in this place is unmatched. From the front door receptionist to the nurses, I can't decide who is worse. My loved one was advised by his insurance company to come to this facility for rehabilitation after a major surgery. Upon his arrival the receptionist was not prepared to receive him and was not even aware of what to do or where to send the paramedics who were dropping him off. Keep in mind that the hospital reached out to this rehab center prior to coming out and dropping him off. So they were fully aware that he was coming, and had communicated to the hospital that they would be able to accommodate him and had a room ready for him. Once the receptionist figured out were he was supposed to go, she sent them the paramedics and patient up to the second floor where his room was located.Once the paramedics arrived at the door of the room, they were faced with the dilemma of getting him from the stretcher that he was transported in on, to the bed in the room of the facility. The rooms are so small and tight, with 2 beds in a room meant for one, that they were unable to wheel the stretcher into the room and transfer him onto the bed w/out making him get up. So, someone who just had a major surgery was forced to build up the very little strength he had at the time, to get off of the stretcher and walk to the bed inside of the room with the help of the paramedics who brought him and no nurses in sight.I could go on and on and on but i will be here all day w/ horror stories from this place. His call button to get a hold of the nurses was not even working and it was a fight just to get them to fix it. When the nurses are asked to get something for the patient such as socks, towel , of something to dress a wound, they disappear never to return again or return hours later or give you the very unsettling response of 'Let me see if I can go find it' and still not return. :( All of the nurses here are incompetent, unreliable and RUDE!! (Exception of 2).Long and short of it all save your own or loved ones life and DO NOT COME HERE!!! PLEASE!

Horrible Management/ leadership leading to numerous fatalities. Managers aren't educated or compassionate. They majority of staff is working for a contractor and don't know the residents. No nurse educator. Nurses arent skilled. Facility is a TERRIBLE

Being a Social Worker is no easy task, working in health care isnt any easier but working with an administrator who not just believes in you but that supports you is 10xs better. I enjoy Fairland and I love working with the residents and team. Its a good place to work to do what I love best assisting others in everyday life.
