So disappointed in the care and treatment of my grandmother. She deserves so much more. Most of the nurses are nice but some are downright rude and unprofessional. The food is what you'd expect to see in a jail and they don't make sure she eats or drinks enough. Her toiletries keep disappearing, her last doctors appointment was so embarrassing, he commented on her smell! She is only allowed two baths a week so how is her body wash gone before the month is over? The place is overall dingy. They keep them occupied with games but pump them full of soda and candy. It really hurts my heart, we had to put her where she could receive around the clock care from professionals for her safety. She is an absolute saint and should be treated with a higher standard of care. I hate posting this but everyone should be aware.

If I could give CCNC five negative stars, I would. In my opinion, very poor quality of care. Staff turnover is high. Staff to patient ratio meets minimum standards, however, staff are often not found in the units that they are assigned and are in other parts of the building, leaving residents unattended. The majority of Staff do not have adequate training in working with the geriatric population. I highly recommend you considering other care options.
