Morningside House of Laurel

Senior Lifestyles manages the Morningside House of Laurel property and it seems as though they have a good mission in providing care to residents and family members, but I am concerned about this property specifically, especially the executive management. The caregivers caring directly for my loved one are both kind and devoted. I know my loved one is in great hands, but Im concerned that the caregivers are not. I also feel that lower management is aware of that staff is miserable and that is why (I believe this is correct) 5 out of the 7 directors (not including the executive director) have left Morningside over the past year. I do not feel the staff are given the support that they need and corporate needs to take a look at that. There have been multiple places in the building that I have noticed black mold growing and it wasnt until a few weeks ago that it was remedied, no matter how many times it was brought to upper managements attention. Lastly, it is unbelievable how many times over the past year that I have heard from staff that state has visited the building due to various issues.

Run !!! Terrible organization, racist with africans disorganized almost all the staffs have resigned , Not enough equipment to work with ordinary clock in machine didnt work for 3months.

Very unprofessional and management & families are unaware of a lot of things happening in that place. Staff does whatever they want when it comes to giving meds & handling residents.They are also understaff had to work the whole downstairs by myself as a new employee, I tried getting in touch with management about a situation that occurred & couldnt reach anyone.The staff may look happy, but there NOT always complaining, and mean to new workers not welcoming at all NO team work your on your own, because of being understaff.I pray things get better and families get the proper care they deserve.
