Terrible, absolutely terrible. The doctor that works there is terrible about making sure her patients have what they need, there arent enough nurses so my mom will sometimes sit in a diaper for over 2 hours without any help, the facility is falling apart, my mom has a broken bed that doesnt lock, and due to her wheel chair not being able to lock she has fallen twice. Terrible place! Do not bring your family member here if you can help it.

When I brought my brother to Genesis La Plata, my experience was better than expected. The staff was kind and professional and the facility was clean and appeared well organized. Of particular note was one person, Delora, who insured I had all the help I needed from any of the staff members. She seemed to have knowledge of every department and anticipated my questions even before I asked, making what could have been an anxiety producing event into a pleasant process.

The food is still on the top of what I would have fixed, I understand there are a lot of people here to make happy, but I don't always like it, too much chicken. I know I'm not the only person here, I know sometime the aides fool around and could be faster but I know there are people that can't do for themselves and need the extra attention. I'm very content here and you keep it very clean.

Hello my name is Cynthia the experience I have had here is wonderful the therapy is great the care is great and a special thanks to Laura in admission and the Ceo Bill and Marie of Director of nursing and Wanda social worker and Larry Director of Human Resources and the unit manger of A wing Jamie is outstanding whatever you need she is there to help you in anyway nurses is great the 11-7 nurse jay jay goes all the way out for his patients does his rounds to make sure you ok before his shift start.All the employees here is great special thanks to Pamela Lancaster for looking out for me .Well all I can say I love that nursing home and I will keep coming back to this nursing home
