Autumn Meadows Assisted Living

Since Ive been introduced to this facility three years ago, I have always commended these assisted living facilities for their cleanliness and great resident care. Whenever I walk into the assisted living homes here, they are spotless and smell great! The staff tries super hard to work with the residents to accommodate their needs and wants to the best of their abilities within the standard guidelines. The residents are always taken such good care of and are treated like one of their own family members. I really am impressed with how well it smells and how nice the living arrangements are for the elderly here at autumn meadows, so keep up the great work guys and thanks for all of the hard work and effort that everyone puts forth to make it a great living experience for them!!

My best experiences with this place is how clean the house is. I am a person who loves clean facilities and when you walk into this place is smells so fresh and clean it doesnt smell like a bleached down nursing home. The employees take so much pride in making sure facility is immaculate.. Also, I praise the employees on how well they take care of the residents there.. The residents are treated as if they were the employees own family members which lets me know the care and passion the employees have for the residents.. passion, caring, and cleanliness goes a long way and I see this within Autumn meadows facility.

AS A FORMER EMPLOYEE I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS NURSING HOME FOR ANY OF YOUR LOVED ONES UNLESS YOU TRULY DON'T LOVE THEM THAT IS! FIRST OF ALL OF THE FOOD THAT IS PREPARED & GIVEN TO THE RESIDENTS ARE FROM A HOMELESS FOOD DRIVE!!!! ALL THE FOOD FOR BREAKFAST, LUNCH, SNACK, DINNER AND SNACK AGAIN IS ALL EXPIRED GOODS! THE EMPLOYEE'S ARE TOLD TO STILL COOK/GIVE OUT THE FOOD REGARDLESS OF ITS CONDITION. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND SHOULD BE STOPPED! THEY DO NOT DO BACKGROUND CHECKS OR DRUG TEST FOR NEW EMPLOYEES!! I HAVE WORKED WITH LIVE IN MANAGERS WHO HAVE BEEN CONVICTED OF CREDIT CARD SCAMS, CAREGIVERS WHO WERE ON DRUGS! THEY DO NOT REPORT ALL RESIDENT INJURIES! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!! ** UPDATE*** The Owner Susan Myers Responded 'Im sorry things did not work out with you as an employer but as the owner of this company for almost 30 years, I would like to clarify a few things. Our residents are the heart of this company and what keeps us going. We care about them as if they are family. All groceries are ordered directly from Giants Pea Pod service and delivered directly to the houses weekly. We spend hours creating customized menus each week for all of our locations to be sure our residents are getting the proper nutrients. In regards to our staff, we not only do extensive background checks but also call upon at least 3 references before anyone is hired. We have been focused on providing quality care for 20+ years and look forward to continuing to do so in the future.' NICE TRY SUSAN, You are a liar, you don't care for your residents nor have you ever cared for your under paid employees !! Please believe me I am HAPPY to no longer work for your nursing homes! I would rather work in a facility that has more respect for the elderly! You rarely show face at the homes unless you are dropping off the FOOD DRIVE food from YOUR van. Whats done in the dark will come to light!

As a former employee I must say if I could give this place zero stars I would. Ive worked for the company for 3 months the staff and management are absolutely nothing but Horrible and the most Dishonest people Ive ever worked with. This place went 6 months without giving a resident a Shower and still havent told the Residents family the staff members talk to the Residents any type of way. I wouldnt Recommend this place to Anybody.
