Stay away from their memory care. they are simply not equipped to handle Alzheimer's/dementia residents and prefer to keep them maxed out on drugs so its easier to care for them. They did not know how to handle Mom's occasional outbursts so sent her to the emergency room for no clinical reason 4 times. This has resulted in much confusion for mom and complete disruption to our lives. If you are looking for help with your loved one, you will not find it here.

Overall, a very beautiful facility. It is clean, modern, and the campus is really nice. It definitely provides a dignified place for seniors to live. The staff is caring as well. The only negative is that there is very poor coordination with the nursing/medical staff. There is definitely some breakdown between pharmacies, outside health providers, ER notes (if your loved one has to go to the ER) and the onsite nursing/medical office at Morningside. That is one aspect of operations that you don't want any miscommunications/ lack of coordination. You will really need to stay on top of all of your loved-one's health records/medications and constantly double-check to ensure that the onsite nursing/medical office at Morningside has up-to-date information.

1: I think the dining manager take me off the schedule because she trying to prove a point. She said I do a do a no call no show thats true but I didnt know I was on the schedule when I tried to find out everybody was on vacation so when I called nobody was answering the phone but its kool Im not begging but Im saying thats wrong its not like I did a no call no show everyday MAYBE SHE DONT LIKE ME BECAUSE I DONT TALK UP WITH HER ALOT. 2: the residents respect me and I respect them they was the reason I was working there because they always say they miss me when Im back on my day that make me feel good I wasnt there because I love money if it was that wouldve left a long time ago. God bless
