Broadmead

An elderly friend, who is a heart patient, is currently there for physical therapy. The staff has frequently not followed the protocol for administering her medications. On a more serious note, this 91 yr old woman has twice been left outside in 90 plus weather. The staff does not respond to the alarm that she carries and my friend has been left waiting for over an hour to be taken into the facility. Despite several conferences with the charge nurse and facility administrator, nothing, for the better, seems to change. They promise everything but their concern for the patient is minimal. Twice my friend has had an accident because the nursing staff took over 25 minutes to answer the emergency button. The first incident took place in the middle of the night. I can attest to the fact that the bed clothes were not changed until 5 p.m. that afternoon, despite two different requests to do so. This facility should be investigated for elder abuse.

Great place for the elderly alot of activities additional support available in house if needed for them. good pay for nursing assistants in healthcare, management is approachable clean environmemt many options for meals for the residents and many activities to choose from for the residents

Mom has lived at Broadmead for many years and has spent the last three years in the nursing home section. Nursing care has really gone down hill and I have lost confidence in their administrator.I recently attended moms care meeting and was devastated to hear TJ left. They keep losing their best employees.
