Autumn Lake Healthcare at Chestertown

Patients dont get the full care they need, Ive worked there and have seen it for myself. The management doesnt care about anyone but themselves. There are bed bugs, patients ask for things and nurses ignore them, kitchen isnt very clean. The lady at the front desk is very kind though and there are a few other workers who are great. You might want to double check with the place before you check in your loved one into this facility.

I have nothing good to say about this place. All I know is it needs to be investigated and the Health Dept needs to go in there. The patients arent being taken care of properly . Most of the people there are there for a paycheck. This kind of work you have to love helping and taking care of people. I know for myself that my kids father fell out of his bed during the night and was never taken to the ER. He was a very sick man. He fell August 12, 2016 at 1:00 am and by 4:00 that afternoon he was sent to Hospice and passed away at 62 years old.. After that we requested incident report which they refused to give to us because we didnt have an attorney. We couldnt afford one so nothing was never done. They are partially responsible for his death. I pray that this review get to the right person. We are not looking for any money. Just want them to be held accountable for what they done...... I didnt want to give the star but that was the only way that I could post this review

I have an aunt that lives at Autumn Lake in Chestertown staff care for her as they do their own family she gets activities she is loved everyone supports her and my family I can't say enough good things

They are sneaky and pushy makes patients sign forms and take their money when under Medicare! If you have family in there be an advocate!!!!

Read their 'mission statement' and have a good laugh; it couldn't be further from the truth. The agency nurses are the only true, caring Registered Nurses there and they only stay for a short time and leave, never to be back. Those agency nurses have plenty to say in support of family members that complain how HORRIBLE this place is. Most of the staff are people that were FIRED from Heron Point, Corsica Hills or Chester River Hospital....bottom of the barrel. They are so desperate for employees that they PAY current staff $$$ to talk their 'friends or family' into working there! Otherwise the staff are relatively good people that just make the wrong decision to work at Autumn Lake and they leave too. The administrator is a fake, condescending liar that will look you in the face and smirk at any concerns or remarks family members want to address, before she walks away.They block you on Facebook if you type anything negative!TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES ANYWHERE BUT HERE.
