AS A FORMER EMPLOYEE I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS NURSING HOME FOR ANY OF YOUR LOVED ONES UNLESS YOU TRULY DON'T LOVE THEM THAT IS! FIRST OF ALL OF THE FOOD THAT IS PREPARED & GIVEN TO THE RESIDENTS ARE FROM A HOMELESS FOOD DRIVE!!!! ALL THE FOOD FOR BREAKFAST, LUNCH, SNACK, DINNER AND SNACK AGAIN IS ALL EXPIRED GOODS! THE EMPLOYEE'S ARE TOLD TO STILL COOK/GIVE OUT THE FOOD REGARDLESS OF ITS CONDITION. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND SHOULD BE STOPPED! THEY DO NOT DO BACKGROUND CHECKS OR DRUG TEST FOR NEW EMPLOYEES!! I HAVE WORKED WITH LIVE IN MANAGERS WHO HAVE BEEN CONVICTED OF CREDIT CARD SCAMS, CAREGIVERS WHO WERE ON DRUGS! THEY DO NOT REPORT ALL RESIDENT INJURIES! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!! THE OWNER OF AUTUMN MEADOWS SUSAN MASTERS SHOULD BE REPORTED! ***UPDATE The Owner Susan Myers Responded 'Im sorry things did not work out with you as an employer but as the owner of this company for almost 30 years, I would like to clarify a few things. Our residents are the heart of this company and what keeps us going. We care about them as if they are family. All groceries are ordered directly from Giants Pea Pod service and delivered directly to the houses weekly. We spend hours creating customized menus each week for all of our locations to be sure our residents are getting the proper nutrients. In regards to our staff, we not only do extensive background checks but also call upon at least 3 references before anyone is hired. We have been focused on providing quality care for 20+ years and look forward to continuing to do so in the future.' NICE TRY SUSAN! You are a liar, you don't care for your residents nor have you ever cared for your under paid employees !! Please believe me I am HAPPY to no longer work for your nursing homes! I would rather work in a facility that has more respect for the elderly! You rarely show face at the homes unless you are dropping off the FOOD DRIVE food from YOUR van. Whats done in the dark will come to light!

I have been an employee for nearly 5 years and have had a great experience! The staff is caring and try their best to make all of the residents feel at home!
