I've lived here for 4 years now. The building itself is older and needs some updates but you can make it your 'own' comfy place. The maintenance guys are super and get the job done; there's no procrastinating with this crew! There are a few in-house things that go on weekly, and I'm sure you can just 'jump' right on in! One of the things I like about HSH is the outlay of the bldg. It allows continuance exercise during the winter months which is most helpful! There's a beauty shop in the facility that's opened to the residents as well as the public; buses come thru during the weekdays, and Harford Mall is within walking distance as well as other stores. Pets are permitted. Dogs cannot be over 22Lbs. One pet only. Nice place to live.

This place can seem like a 'Nature Reserve' at times. Serene, quiet, 'Green Spaces.' See deer, turtles, rabbits, owls & other animals as they go about their day or night. Local Public Transportation is available, & within walking distance of shopping, eateries & other businesses, yet tucked away in the beautiful green space & almost unseen from the main drag.This place is clean, & very well kept. There are many activities here or resources to connect you to outside activities. People are friendly most of the time.
