Im the owner of Open Arms, and Ive been in business since 2013 . The comment by James Robinson Id like to explain in detail. His father was very challenging. Im not an assisted living or nursing home he had very severe dementia., and he refused his 2 high dose dementia medications . I did the best I could for this family, paying $1030 a month that included everything . If he or I asked for anything from the son , he stated hed put him in a homeless shelter! After discharge there was a balance , it was not paid or enforced. Mr. Robinson constantly had issues. Whether it was with other residents, throwing things, or foul language, I Believe out of the year that he was i In my facility, the son visited maybe four times. He was Very violent, attacked one of my other residence. , was Constantly having loud out burst if he didnt like something or get his way. His refusal to take the Dementia medications made his condition less manageable. I soon learned He did not belong in an independent care, and that he needed a nursing secured facility ( which is where he is now ) but the family could not afford it. So when he states that he walked out of my facility .... its because its not a secured facility , my residents are fully independent . He also fails to state, that while his father was in his care , he ran off and was in the middle of Merritt Boulevard, throwing his shoes, refusal to get back in the van with him. The Police were called and it took hours to secure him. So I guess I could say the son was very Irresponsible and unsafe as well.He Also, is Stating that I am ghetto I want to make this clear as well. this statement is because .... hes a racist man and I have biracial grandchildren. He did not like that. He fails to mention all of these issues as well as his fathers Violent behavior at the hospital and as transportation was transporting him here he had urinated on the emt , spit on them, fist fighting. Refusal to do anything. The transportation EMT did NOT even want to leave him here. They wanted to take him to psychiatric evaluation. He also states that his father sat in the basement and watched TV all day. Mind you, The son took him out 1 time in a year! My lower level has been completely renovated, There are two bedrooms, a large family room, a bathroom and a laundry room. Which , the residents watch a 65 inch cable television, they watch movies, have activities, and enjoy their day.( Mr Robinson would not engage in any activities. ) When the weather is nice, theres a huge gazebo with cable television, and a radio out back in a large fenced yard. His father enjoyed many days out in the yard . There are also two rooms on the upper level and two rooms on the top level in which residents reside in. So before he makes a comment negative on a site that Ive never had any issues, with any residents at my facility . He should be clear and and state what kind of condition, and issues his family member had and the lack of interaction that him and his father had for many years. I am a income based program. I do what I can for low income seniors. I believe I do very well. and for a income of $1030 a month, I provided this gentleman with a warm safe home, three home-cooked meals a day, drinks, snacks, His pull-ups, cable television, Internet and house phone, in in-house doctor free of charge, celebrating birthdays, holidays,, Outings, and much much more. I have text from the family thanking me for taking such good care of him, .and Thanking me for helping them with him. But you cant please everyone, some people want much more for nothing. So as youre reading his comment please remember not all people will put the whole truth when they put in complaintsThank you and have a great day

this place steals all your loved ones assets and converts them to their own, especially autos.

If youre looking for advanced care for that independent, elderly or handicapped loved one of yours? Look no further! This home away from home is nestled in a quiet street of a well-maintained neighborhood. It is always neatly maintained and well-secured. Premises are always neat and clean. Unlike other places Ive seen, this facility is not crowded. It is also within walking distance of buses, and a busy shopping district. Although off the main street, there is also enough foot traffic for your loved one to feel comfortable if they ventured out on their own. It is also located near a busy shopping district. Features: Residents take outings to local venues, participate in activities, get home-cooked meals, medication monitoring, and lots more. To add to this, it is a handicapped accessible facility. The only drawback is if your loved one drives: only street parking is available and not easily. (Nevertheless, this is minor if you dont mind hiking over a few streets. )Overall, it seems like a great nook, safe, uncrowned, decorative, homely, with personable staff. Why not check it out?

He was able to walk right out the front door police found him on Ritchie Highway The facilitator/owner is the most unprofessional person I have ever met in my life/Ghetto if you have any love for your loved ones do not send them there
