Grand Cove

This facility has a very long way to go before it gets a rating of more than one star. Complete waste of time to complain to the staff, as not one thing changes. Food is horrible, wouldn't hurt to make a change in the cook and selections of more nutritious menus , carpert is disgusting and needs to be upgraded to vinyl laminate like the new facilities have. At least the vinyl laminate can be cleaned and sterilized, unlike the germ infested carpet. The turnover of aids is extremely high and morale is at an all time low. A large percentage of the time my family members have to change the linens and clean up my mom, no one does it, she lies in her urine and bowel movement for hours at a time, personally witnessed by every member of the family. No excuse for it. This facility has one great male aid that does more in 2 hours than the rest combined in 16 hours. Hopefully the new facility director can straighten things out, won't happen overnight , because she was left a huge mess to deal with. I wish her all the luck and am looking forward to seeing some changes for the better at Grand Cove.

This is an awesome facility. They took wonderful care of my aunt for nearly 5 years. She loved it there
