Probably the best state park we've been to. Not sure if its kept so well due to less people in these Covid times but, my goodness, what a great clean beach area! We live in New Orleans and went down for the first time a week ago and enjoyed it so much that we went back yesterday! We are also planning to go again in 2 weeks. The staff if friendly and it looks like they have some great camping spots too! Be warned though that Grand Isle is very flippant about taking precautions due to Covid. If you are cautious in your own safety, you'll want to bring your own food as the restaurants near this park are very concerning.
