The staff are very caring. Many of them go out of their way to make sure that those residents that have no family have everything they need, going so far as to spend their own money to buy those residents items such as cokes, snacks and even clothing. The facility is always clean.

I worked as the dietitian for this company for 7 years! I loved my residents and working to better their overall heath. I also worked with the administrator for 7 years at a sister facility and she was very interactive with residents and trying to make the best choices for those residents! I know for a fact- she is loyal to resident care and wanting to get the right staff in the building for those residents! She is definitely an advocate for residents and that is important in long term care. You want your family in a safe, caring environment and I know that that is the environment this facility is striving for. - my son changed my name in google- its not Flip gang its Jennifer Martin, RDN.

At the Owensboro Center the Activity Directors work extremely hard to provide a variety of activities for residents each week. They welcome visitors to come in to give demonstrations, help residents during craft times and parties, entertain with music, and to minister to residents. Today, five year old Minh Best and her mom visited the Owensboro Center and painted a picture for the residents with her feet. She gave them a Christmas card with her picture on it and a painting of a Christmas tree she had painted. We had cookies and punch also! The nurses and staff are warm and friendly and very helpful.
