Disappointing to see that this place has let their sanitation practices decline during a pandemic. This facility is currently infested with cockroaches, which begs the question: How can they protect the sweet old people in their care from Covid-19 if they can't even keep cockroaches out of the building? Definitely hope that people are considering other facilities for their mom or dad.

Our mother moved Brookdale on Blankenbaker in early 2018 prior to Atria taking over management responsibilities. Brookdale was a major disappointment, when Atria took over we hoped for an improvement but it never came. The first thing they did was raise the rent. Atria was very impersonal, not improvement oriented and did not seem do anything unless they had to. Housekeeping reported to maintenance, the quality of their work was poor yet tolerated by the maintenance supervisor. The food was of poor quality and indifferently prepared. Moved our mother into Brownsboro Park off of Goose Creek and she couldn't be happier with the quality of life and attitude of the Brownsboro staff. Also save about $300 per month.

I have been working for Atria for the past 14 years and love what we do for our residents and our employees.
