The museum and gift shop are must see places for any fan of Abraham Lincoln or presidential enthusiast. There are diorama's of important parts of President Lincoln's life, historical artifacts, and local folk art that pay homage to 'The Great Emancipator.'

Good place to get an idea of Lincoln's life

Great stop. Nice information about the bridge and area geography. Clean restrooms, well done and attractive. Short walk (200 - 300 yards) to an overlook where you can see the bridge. Plenty of parking (compare to Mammoth Cave, another great stop, needs more despite have Walmart worth spaces). Since this isn't a long stop, you want easy parking, and this has it.I also stopped at the Sandstone center, less than an hour apart and also about the New River, it is far more focused on the Earth Science part if you have Middle School or High School kids. This is about the bridge. Both are important to the area and I'd say your should try to do both.
