I worked under the direction of the a particular ED for last year and a half. I have seen first hand, in many different circumstances, just how unprofessional this employer is (at least under the direction of current Leadership). I have witnessed many times, families being told things that are not quite the truth about their loved ones (meaning truths being stretched). I reported, many times, to the regional staff about particular management issues on separate occassions, after doing so they came in and discussed the issues reported with the management involved and then that was it. The problems and issues returned as soon as they walked out of the door. I believe these issues were not taken any further and were pretty much swept under the rug. I gave notice to resign shortly after seeing how the reported problems were handled and when it became close to my final day I was told I didn't need to finish out my resignation. Their reason: another member of management (such as myself) walked off the job (the day before), and another staff member refused a promotion (within the same day) implying 'trust is obsolete in this building and they couldn't accept because of it.' They informed me I didnt need to complete my last week because these 2 separate employees talked with me closely and they assumed I knew what was happening. Nonetheless, in my opinion, I would steer clear of getting involved with this employer unless your wanting a roller coaster ride filled with ridicoulous drama, deceat, lies and betrayal. I am not a disgruntled employee that was fired nor have I ever had any discipline while employed, I was leaving my position anyway do to all the issues stated above, but I just wanted to make others considering employment, aware of what they are getting into. Looks are decieving and so are first impressions. I mean after all people leave people, not jobs, and you can only be as good as your direct report. Good luck if you decide to seek employment with this group, I just hope you can fit in the click. (Again this is all in my perspective, solely my oppinion and feelings of this employer under it's current direction)

This place is not what its advertised to be or what it appears on the initial visit. Moving my mother here was a huge mistake. She needed assistance because of dementia after my father passed. I thought this would be a good place for her. I was so wrong. She was almost never clean and stayed wet. I asked why they werent helping her bathe and they told me she told them no when they asked. I told them she needed help because she had dementia! All they had to do was talk to her. I asked how long it had been and they had let her go for 7 days! My mother was so particular about her appearance all her life. They didnt clean her room. I asked why her room was so filthy and they told me the person who cleans quit 2 weeks ago and they had no one to do it! My husband and I had to clean her room on several occasions. She was wet when I would visit and I had to change her. She also went to the hospital because of UTIs more than ever while here. The hospital staff said they see patients from The Lantern come in filthy with UTIs all the time. These people didnt want to help her they just wanted the huge check every month. I moved my mother to a much better place.

Morning Pointe is an AMAZING company to work for. They treat all employees like family, but most importantly the residents are family.

My aunt lived there for many years. They were great! We still go back and visit because we consider them our family.
