After 3 years we are looking to leave this facility. The level of care in Assisted Living has declined terribly. The are unsympathetic to the elderly and unattentive. The staff seems incompetent and the management doesn't have a clue about what their workers are or are not doing. The food is terrible and has declined. They seem to be hurting for revenue and it's costing the residents dearly. Do your loved one a favor and do not send them to live at Cedar Lake Village Assisted Living.

My dad has been a resident since the facility opened and was please in the past but during the past 12 months there is new management, and the facility has gone downhill. His apartment is not cleaned properly, the food choices are not good for elderly people. Poblano peppers and enchiladas sound good to me but do not appeal to him. I called this morning to see if they could get a msg to him and they said no, they dont do that. I live two hours away and his phone hasnt worked for three days. I finally reached a friend to check on him and I have someone going by this afternoon to help get it fixed. Unbelievable that they couldnt let him know that help is on the way. Where is the compassion. They didnt ask me why I was even attempting to get a message to him. If he was younger, I would be moving him to a more caring and clean apartment.
