Watercrest at Victoria Falls Assisted Living

My mother has lived at V Falls for over a year now and we are so thankful for them. Her one bedroom apartment is well taken care of and spacious. We set up her room up as close to home as possible and they let us do whatever. I could list all the aids and med techs that have been wonderful to my mother. I put cameras in her room because I live out of state and I witness them hugging her, helping her and having a ongoing relationship that makes her feel at home. No facility is perfect and all of them have their short comings. My greatest wish list would be more changes to the nutritional department but understand the budget constraints. I go to sleep at night knowing that the vast majority of caregivers are treating my mom as they would like their mother cared for and I couldn't ask for more.

My dad lived at Victoria Falls Assisted Living for about a month. We had him the in ER 3 times while he was there due to extreme confusion, dehydration, and UTI. We had to move him to another facility because of the lack of care he received while there. The staff made us feel like we were bothering them if we asked for assistance of any kind. I spent more time with him there then I spent in my own home. I am glad that I was there so much because I stopped them TWICE from giving him someone else's medicine. The head nurse had rotten teeth and she was not professional at all. The cleaning crew that was supposed to take care of cleaning, laundry, and taking out trash never checked on him. I took care of all of that. What topped it off was that we found black mold in the A/C. I also live near Victoria Falls and I have actually stopped and helped a number of people back to the facility because they go to Walgreens or some where else unassisted and have a difficult time making it back. We moved my dad to Andover Court where he gets excellent care and is treated like he is part of the family. If you are looking for a assisted living facility in Andover or east Wichita I would highly recommend Andover Court and STAY FAR AWAY FROM VICTORIA FALLS!

Went to see someone and was totally out of words for the management's lack of work etiquette.

Our family has lived here for a couple of years in the Assisted Living facility. Its such a beautiful facility with a peaceful atmosphere. The staff are very professional and compassionate. I highly recommend this place for your loved ones. They are so incredibly welcoming and always go above and beyond to meet my families needs.
