Solon Nursing Care Center

My Mother was in Solon Nursing Care. Only if you pay attention to the staff on what they do. When I came up one time, ( they didn't know I was coming) they didn't feed her breakfast because she wanted to sleep. That I understand,,,, But as soon as I came into her room the aid wanted to take her to her bath, she said I need to pee,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the aid didn't pay attention to her wishes and she pee on her slippers.. Nursing Homes need better inspection and supervision by State and Families. Remember we will be their someday.I hope the staff remembers they will be their someday also. Score of 1

Where do I begin???? My Mom passed away on Saturday at the Solon Care Center. The Care Center was her home for 16 months. I cannot say enough about the staff at this facility. And I'm talking about everyone! From the Administrator to Director of Nursing, from the R.N.'s to C.N.A's. From the kitchen staff and activity staff to the housekeeping staff. All were top notch and I couldn't be happier with the care she was given. I truly felt that they loved my Mom. They constantly were in touch with me about the smallest issue to the largest. They made sure I knew everything that was going on. During Mom's final couple of weeks 1 nurse in particular stood out, Jennifer. She called me daily, sometimes 2 or 3 times just to let me know what they were doing to care for her. It's impossible for me to repay all they did but I know that they can be trusted with my loved ones. Thank you all so very much! Darline Horton
