If you have to place your love one in a care facility. This home treats you like family

A great facility with very caring staff. Heritage has as close to a home feel a care center could have. The staff is friendly, caring, and skilled. They have a variety of activities for residents to participate in and the activities staff does a great job encouraging attendance and keeping them fun. The nursing and CNA staff are caring and attentive to our mother's needs. The Social Services department are very caring and really work hard to accommodate needs and placing roommates together that are compatible. The business office staff are patient and understanding of our needs. The Therapy staff are upbeat and energetic to help residence feel motivated to meet goals. The Dietary staff are so sweet and talk to our mom as they serve meals and clean the dining room. I really cannot say enough good about our experience with this facility. It is a smaller facility which we love as it really have a home feel and we can even get to know the other residents and families also. It really has a great climate and culture. The only criticism I would have is the meals are not very good and when we eat with our mother the $5 cost is too much for the quality and quantity of food. That being said if you are in the Hardin County area in need of a Care Center for a loved one checking Heritage out would be well worth your time to check out. We have had a great experience with them.
