Immanuel Pathways - Southwest Iowa

Receptionist was extremely unpleasant upon arrival and the doctor had no faith in her patient (my grandma). The doctor made a very poor decision which almost cost my grandmother's life! No good words for this place!

I came to pathways in Nov 2015, I had suffered a torn ACL in my left knee, in addition to having suffered a compound fracture of my 6th thoracic vertebra. The rehabilitation I was advised to correct my injuries, was right on target and I was able to discard my walking cane with-in a couple of months. Dan and Lisa were wonderful and knowledgeable in my recovery. Without the support of Emanuel pathways of Council Bluffs, I would probably still be hobbling around with a walking aid.The staff at pathways are among the best I have encountered in my 71 years. I throughly enjoy the visitation of fellow participants and have met many great people. I can truthfully say there is not one person at pathways, that I have not liked. Love the program and highly recommend it to every one I encounter with a need of this kind of professionalism, Thank you pathways ( Pace ), you are all the best.

DO NOT!!!! allow your loved ones to participate in the P.A.C.E. program, unless you really don't care for your parents grandparents etc..The have done potentially irreparable damage to my mothers health, due solely to gross misdiagnosis by unqualified individuals. My mother attended the program and a P.A. 'Physicians Assistant' diagnosed her with dementia on the spot without Any formal Neurological testing taking place whatsoever. The result a vibrant woman in her early 70's was reduced to a shell of herself within two weeks of the diagnosis and prescription for dementia medication.I took her to the ER after having seizures to discover that there is is an extremely good chance the medication they prescribed caused it. The Neurologist that visited her in the E.R. was a furious as I was. And in an completely unorthodox move basically demanded that 'I sue their ass off' and that's a direct quote.This review is aimed directly at the P.A.C.E. Program located in Council Bluffs Iowa, and Not Immanuel as a whole. IMHO and all current anger aside, this facility needs to have the doors closed today, not tomorrow.
