Skyline Suites Assisted Living

Facility staff members go above and beyond for their residents. There arent enough words to describe the respect I have for these caring individuals. The facility is clean, beautifully decorated, and the most spacious I have seen in similar facilities. Great job guys and thank you for the care you provide!

Skyline Suites has been a gift from God and the perfect new home for my sweet mom. We visited at least five other southern Indiana ALFs before discovering Skyline Suites in Salem, Indiana. Our family feels blessed and at peace everyday, knowing that Ryan and his staff are taking good care of her. Salem is our hometown, but since I live in Florida, I am able to lay my head on my pillow each night, knowing my mom is happy and well taken care of. Ryan takes my mom to her doctor appointments and follows up with us with what the doctors report. My siblings and I joke that Ryan is like a brother because he treats our mom like she is his own. Skyline Suites staff not only take excellent care of my mom, but it is a beautiful facility and we have been able to decorate and furnish her apartment as we/she wishes. Of course it took my mom a couple of weeks to get used to the idea of living in an ALF with people she did not know prior to, but within the first two to three weeks she was calling it her new home. She always has good things to report about her new home when we talk on the phone. She loves the outings and day trips and has made new friends with the other residents. I cannot say enough good things about Skyline Suites-beautifully designed and decorated like a real home, great meals, enjoyable outings and activities on site, family oriented and small enough to be sure my mom gets a lot of attention from excellent staff. I must not leave out that what end up being an extra cost at the end of the month at all other ALFs, are included in the monthly rent, such as in house salon fees, costs for outings and transportation to and from local appointments. We love SKYLINE SUITES!!!

There came a time our family realized that our loved one could no longer live independently and thankfully she realized that as well. We wanted to ensure that our mother would be cared for in a positive, sensitive, supportive and caring environment.We toured many assisted living facilities in several cities given her children live in four different states. Our last visit was to Skyline. Skyline is a beautiful new facility. It offers everything for which we had been looking. The residents maintain their independence with Skyline providing the limited care needed by our mother. The facility offers beautifully appointed 'apartments', outings, three-nutritional meals per day, activities, limited room cleaning, laundry, change sheets, spa, towels, soap, and paper products. The items I just listed are all very nice but what was most important to us was the staff. Everyone there is cheerful, helpful, and happy. Ryan (manager/owner) is always available to listen to the residents and even transports them to local doctor visits. If anyone has a concern he is open to their input. I personally have called him and he listens and responds appropriately and he is never in a rush. An added bonus is that Ryan is always smiling.At the very beginning I mentioned that we toured many facilities. Dollar for dollar Skyline is superior to all the facilities we toured. We wanted the best for our elderly mother and there is no doubt in my mind we have it. Our mother is happy and that was paramount to our family.

I highly recommend Skyline Suites. It is a beautiful facility. The apartments are spacious, and my grandmother was able to bring much more of her furniture and belongings than anticipated. The facility offers a variety of activities that my grandmother enjoys on a daily basis. The staff is very friendly and caring. My grandmother is very happy at Skyline Suites. It really is a fantastic place for my grandmother!

I have had the pleasure of working at Skyline Suites for a while now. What a beautiful facility! The residents have become a close knit family and have developed friendships and enjoy the companionship of others. They have daily activities including making many of the decorations we use around the holidays. They also go on outings and will talk about it for days. As a medical assistant, I can assure you the residents are well taken care of. They are supplied with all the essentials they need to continue to be independent. They all feel at home and enjoy telling their story and life experiences. We have all grown closer and consider each other family. If you havent taken a tour of Skyline, please stop by and visit!
