Primrose Retirement Community of Mishawaka

Primrose has been an amazing opportunity for my mother. After living 60 years in our family home in another state, my mom was initially reluctant to give up everything she was familiar with. She adjusted quickly and loves living in her new community. She has absolutely no regrets!! She had also been driving prior to moving here and only once in 3-1/2 months stated that she missed her car. Primrose is beautifulclean, comfortable, the food is deliciousand everyone is very friendly. Plenty of daily activities to choose from with free transportation available to take residents shopping or to appointments.The staff works diligently to please while respecting privacy of residents.

During the course of my parent's nearly two year stay they've gone through 3 administrators, numerous kitchen managers and director's of nursing. My parents reported that they ran out of food or that the food was substandard as typical. They evaluated my independent mother as requiring a level of assistance that she did not require and retroactively increased her rate without any notification. I would not trust the management of this facility with the care of anyone I cared about. They've commingled funds between my parent's separate accounts without permission; transferring funds from my father's to my mother's account. They have consistently lied to us in such a shameful manner as to almost be beyond belief that alleged professionals would behave like this. Don't believe a word these people tell you! They will certainly let you and your loved one down. We brought our complaints to them over the course of our parents' residence. We got talk but no action. We thought we were placing them in a safe environment... we though wrong.

Absolutely Beautiful place. Fran is AMAZING.

This is a beautiful and caring place in a very central location to many areas of Michiana. I have known Fran for over four years and always found her to be my go too person on senior living. She is a great asset.
