Leaving her house of 60+ years was extremely difficult for our mom. However, everything about Rittenhouse made this transition happen more smoothly than I thought possible: her modern, perfect-sized apartment that is cozy and comfortable; the delicious and plentiful meals that she greatly enjoys; the fact that her beloved kitty can live there with her; and especially the staff, who are caring, attentive, compassionate, and kind. I have appreciated their prompt responses to my e-mails and phone calls, and the manner in which they keep family members informed (all the more so, in this time of pandemic). Our family is truly grateful for Rittenhouse and the wonderful staff who go above and beyond for the folks in their care.

Very discouraging whenever I go to visit my mother. She presses her button and waits, and waits, and waits. The time before this visit, it took twenty minutes before someone came to take her to lunch. Today we gave up, put her in the wheelchair ourselves, and took her down for lunch. Thanks to the nurse for turning on her oxygen. She doesnt even go to exercise anymore due to having to wait so long. Nothing but new faces whenever we visit. Wish she was in some other assisted living, where they actually assisted.

My mom moved to Rittenhouse when she could no longer live alone. It's a lovely, homey facility with great food (she loves the meals!) and caring staff who go the extra mile for the residents. In addition to all this, she was able to take her cat with her when she moved. Rittenhouse has definitely earned the trust of her family and has given us peace of mind.

Such a beautiful place. Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Its like having a very extended family. Even a walk on the property is a enjoyable time with the beautiful view of nature.
