Miller's Merry Manor

These people are Saints. They took care of my mom (who could be very ornery at times)and showed her nothing but love, patience and compassion. The day my mom died, Mrs. Horner (Head of Nursing) came next to her bedside, brushed my mom's hair and kissed her on the forehead.

Horrible horrible place

I worked at Millers Merry Manor in Logansport as a CNA. Its honestly not as nice and wonderful as many people think. The management is a bunch of fruitcakes and they focus more on covering up problems in the facility rather than actually addressing them. I, like many others, was belittled and talked down to, extremely overworked, and we were being paid less than the State average, and then they wonder why they cant keep staff. The employees all have their own little clicks, much like a high school rather than a healthcare facility. The employees who claim they do the most are really the ones who do the least. Its like pulling teeth to get a nurse to do anything there besides pass meds and do charting. Youll never see any of them answering a call light or helping a resident, theyre basically overpaid adult babysitters. There was too much gossiping and drama than I could handle. A coworker of mine actually posted a bad review on their page and it ended up getting deleted. I think the company monitors the things posted about them to make themselves look good which is why you dont see many bad reviews about them. If youre looking for a job, you will be underpaid and under appreciated. If youre looking for a place to send your loved one, go elsewhere. This place is a joke.

Some nurses have no manners. Its heartbreaking to watch my sister suffer, and some could honestly care less.
