NeighborCare of Chapel is a great community for seniors who are looking for friends, activities, safety, and wellness. The apartments are spacious, clean, and affordable. The free bus transportation, activities, and gym are an added bonus.

- As others have noted, the assisted living option is being dropped by Justus in Oct-2019 with only a 2 month warning. This is inexcusable.- My dad has always complained about the food, but it doesn't matter now, as they are closing the dining room too.- The buildings are old and need lots of maintenance, but to be fair they do try to keep everything in working order.- The heater / air conditioner is a wall unit much like hotels have. If your loved one lives in anything other than a studio, the unit doesn't keep up on hot or cold days, especially in the other rooms. At one point this past winter, my dad's apartment was 55 degrees before they finally brought up a space heater for him.- It doesn't help matters that the sliding door in my dad's apartment has NO weatherstripping, so the wind just comes rushing in thru the crack between the sliding doors. On windy days, it can be quite noisy.- Ants have been a constant problem in my dad's kitchenette.
