My wife has been a resident here since Nov.1. 2016, and have seen staff come and go, for one reason or another, remember caregiving at home or in a facility such as Northwoods Villages isn't an easy job, people get burned out , anyway people come and go.A ongoing concern has been the laundry service, even though clothing is marked, clothing comes up missing, or misplaced in wrong rooms, but the Executive Director, Kim Stanley is doing her best to address the situation.I'm not sure if there's a Reinbursement policy in place, but would be welcome.Staff makes contact with you if there's a issue of concern, like a fall or emergency.Rooms sometimes are left unlocked when residents are out of rooms for activities , which invites problems of missing items, so it's recommended you request your residents room locked when not in them, and ask for a key for your residents room to carry on your person.Recently I had said I noticed a lot of empty rooms, and I know a few families moved their loved ones out, for whatever reason, but I stand corrected because I found out I was wrong in my judgement call , the real fact is , that since early in the year there has been several residents that have passed on, others were re-located to other facilities by their families for reasons unknown, as this is between them and management. There have been in recent weeks, some new residents moving in , so now less empty rooms. My original statement in no way was meant to reflect poor management or staffing, and at present the staffing are all excellent in doing their caregiving, dedicated, caring, and I will miss all of them dearly as they have been there for my wife, always, maybe not as fast as a flash , because there's others needing assistance as well. The Executive Director, and her staff as busy as some days are are a call away.As my wife moves on soon, I will miss the family here, and thank each and every staff member for their dedication and care given these past almost 3 years. Read what's printed above the doors going into each neighborhood, follow the advice , remember the Golden Rule, God Bless each and every one of you.

The nurses and housekeeper truly care for the residents. The building is new and beautiful. They struggle with very high turnover with CNAs and kitchen staff. Sometimes that presents problems.
