My father was admitted to this facility in September 27, 2019 after a foot grab surgery. I live about 5 minutes away and thought it would be perfect for me to come see him every day and he will have professional help. I was wrong, it was the greatest mistake I have done as my father's caregiver. Several times I found my father's room dirty, one occasion as I was leaving I asked someone in the front desk if they could send someone to clean it. My daughter went back 3 hours later and it was still not cleaned, my daughter came back home furious asking me to do something because there were ants in the room now. I got all my cleaning supplies and went to clean it myself, staff did nothing or said anything. They never took my dad to his doctors appointments and wanted to cancel his fallow up appointment with his surgeon as well. I had to pick my father up and took him, I'm glad I did. His doctor and I noticed he had new ulcers on his left foot because they were not fallowing his order. The next day I went back to see my father and found they had taken all his the protectors his doctor put on and order there to be put back on after changing his bandages. I found them in the floor, my dad was dirty, his food had not been picked up, there was urine in the floor because my father is blind and dropped it. I finally took him out. The new ulcers got really bad, he had infection in his bone and his left toe had to be amputated. My father was brought to Valley View to get better and all that happened was that he got worse under professional staff. I don't recommend this facility to nobody, I strongly believe it should be close out. Staff was rude and the director doesn't care for patients.

I have worked for several different nursing facilities. Definently gotta say this was the biggest disappointment. The attitudes given by staff to other staff and from the staff to the residents just horrible. No respect. Cleanliness not a prize winner either. Definently the most uncleaned place I've ever worked for. Wall paper pealing, lack of hot water, very poor housekeeping. Employee favoritism, too many employees acting like they have a management position when they do not. Just no control or direction what so ever. And those few who do work hard and break their backs get absolutely no recognition.

Im currently here as a patient after quad bypass surgery. The people both residents and most of the staff seem very warm and friendly. I have no problems with any of the staff and proper car. The one thing this place really needs is a better chief. Wow some of the very worst cooked worst flavored and worst quality ive seen anywhere. Spend a little more money and get what the place needs

This place is a joke. My father in law needed blood work and some attention. He could not get it the 1st shift nurse wouldn't do anything til the 2nd shift nurse came in. The administrator or whoever she is didn't do anything she must just answer phones. He was having problems for almost a week and nothing got done they didn't even bother calling us to let us know since we r only able to go on Saturdays or Sundays. My wife had to stay there til the blood work got done and now he is admitted in the hospital. If u don't care bout ur loved ones just throw them out and leave. If someone died in that place it would take them hours to find them. If the call lite is on its takes hours for them to check on you. We filed a complaint. The money these places get and then to treat loved ones like that is ridiculous.

Horrible place - immediately felt like I put my parent at the dog pound. Do not put your loved ones in this facility!
