What a joke of a facility. Its unclean and the aides dont do anything except sit behind the desk on the main floor. Nurses seem to pick up most slack for the care all the way around. This facility is lacking communication , but what's to be expected when you have 20 different agencies coming in to fill in for people who dont want to work here. A lot of family members work here together also so that definitely plays a big role in downfall of BEN HUR. If one person in upper management doesn't like you, better watch out. Life will become hell for your family member

Lucy Geeser is phenomenal in getting things done! My Dad was in an accident in South Dakota. He needed to be transferred to Indiana but I wasnt able to find an orthopedic surgeon who was willing to oversee his care. Somehow, Lacey found an orthopedic surgeon and we were able to make the transfer.While my Dad was at Ben Hur, for 2 months, he received excellent care. The Physical and Occupational therapy people did their very best to help my Dad in his recovery.My Dad said he felt well cared for and that everyone was wonderful to him. He was in a private room in the rehabilitation area of Ben Hur.My only complaint about Ben Hur is, even though I asked on more than one occasion, they wouldnt communicate information to me directly. It always came through my Dad. This was a problem because my Dad wasnt always accurate with the information. On many occasions he would tell me what he wanted to be true vs what was actually true. If I contacted Lacey, she would get me the accurate information but I had to ask for Ben Hur to tell me the information. It was never offered to me without me asking.Despite this, I would highly recommend Ben Hurs Rehabilitation facility.
