I would not send my sick dog to this place. They are a for profit healthcare facility and make it known with the lack of staff that they only care about making profits. They claim to have 24 hour care on the Assisted Living side. What they actually do is have the night nurse on the Rehab side carry a pager in case theres a problem. The majority of the RNs there are on a restricted license (bet they dont tell the families that). They lack transparency and basic knowledge of medical practices. Next its obvious management lacks education or training because they can not keep employees (nothing but policy thumpers). There is no security at all anywhere on the property for the staff or patients. And you better hope your loved one doesnt get hungry after 7:00pm because the only food they will be able to get is a PB&J sandwich ( hope your loved on doesn't have diabetes or a peanut allergy). Please dont respond to my review ( they claim from the owner) and leave me the Chesterton phone number if you really do care then give the real owners contact information.

My main problem was with the nursing staff. On several occasions I was given my medication after the legal time limit. I was not given a shower for 2 consecutive weeks.

The Angels of Symphony of Chesterton were so helpful in my Dad's journey. I have never gone thru anything like this and they took such good care of my Dad. I will definitely refer my friends. Thank You so much

I was very worried to put my mother into a nursing home. She suffered a stroke and lost her ability to speak. We toured many nursing homes but chose Symphony of Chesterton. I would recommend this facility for anyone looking for assistance for their loved ones.To Symphony: Again, I just want to say thank you for treating my mother and myself with such love and care. I will be forever be grateful. -Sarah Richardson
