Quite disturbed that a nurse listened in on a private telephone conversation I had with my mother and shared it with another member of the family!

For over a year, I visited an elderly friend who lived in the nursing home section, and I would not recommend this facility to anyone. They take a long time to respond to requests for assistance (more than 45 minutes for help to go to the bathroom) and show no concern for the residents. The staff at night and on weekends were particularly callous. My friend was afraid to complain for fear of repercussions. She died at the facility and during the time she was dying (over a 5-day period), she was treated poorly. During this time, I saw the staff barge into her room, yelling loudly and laughing and joking with one another, all while supposedly taking caring of a dying woman. When we asked for more medicine to help her feel better, they refused. We later found out they were not administering her medications correctly. The building is nice, but the care is poor at best. There are a few employees who try to do the right thing, but its obvious most dont care.

Don't be fooled by appearances. Had a friend placed there and condition declined dramatically. Staff didn't follow doctor's charted orders. Patient was not bathed regularly. Left the center to return to hospital for full evaluation of condition and medicines. What a disgrace!

My dad stayed here after he had a hemorrhagic stroke leaving him debilitated on his left side. He doesnt speak much English and rarely trusts anyone outside of my mom. Wellbrooke worked with us to get him adjusted to the facility. They recognized he was more comfortable with certain caretakers and therapists so they scheduled accordingly. They assessed and made changes based on his needs. He fell multiple times during his first few days because hes stubborn and refused help so they moved his room to be closer to the nurse. Eventually my dad really grew to like the staff and facility because they took the time to earn his trust. They also helped me by giving me great advice regarding his care and the process moving forward to ensure he had what he needed when he went home. They also follow up with me to see if hes ok or may need to return there. Id recommend this facility for a loved one any day.

My mother was diagnosed with cancer the staff made sure to make she was comfortable. Therapy was phenomenal and things were looking up then cancer decided otherwise everyone took great pride in making her feel at home
