A member of my church is a resident here at River Terrace Retirement Center. She is impressed with some of the staff that are caring and cooperative to her and the patient's needs. The facilities are very nice but space is limited when you down-size from a residence to a retirement community 'home,' to a much smaller 'apartment' to live in for the rest of your life! She has developed many new friends, some good, some not so cooperative, and has participated in small groups and the community council for residents. It has been a truly growing and learning experience for her at a new stage in her life!

This is a beautiful facility, with top notch care for your loved ones. Offering a progressive level of care from apartment living to memory care, as life situations change. The well-maintained secluded setting provides a resort quality ambiance, with walking paths, separate chapel facilities, beautiful facade and adequate well-lit parking for residents, visitors, and staff. FIne dining facilities, plus a cafe and numerous lounge areas are available. My first impression was that my sister could live the rest of her life in a five star hotel quality building with private suites, and her needs being met every step along the way. I found the dedication of caring staff is unequaled in most facilities in this region. As a nurse, this is my choice for adult living.
