Director of Nursing, Rachelle Condra, was caught taking a patient/resident's dog to the pound (without their consent). CNA's had to retrieve the animal. Only 1 licensed practical nurse on duty for (up to) 58 patients/residents, No registered nurses actually work here. Company does not provide toilet paper, soap, personal food, nothing. The company does not provide car rides to/from stores for groceries + basic necessities. Residents are only allowed to walk outside in a small courtyard, resident's are given very little freedom living here. Company also hires too many Mother + Daughters. The quality of food is also horrible here, the resident's frequently complain + nothing is done for improvement. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!

My mother has been living at Monroe Place since October 2017. She really loves it there and has met many new friends. The employees are very attentive, caring and friendly. They have done a fantastic job of keeping the residents healthy and their families updated on status during this pandemic I would definitely recommend Monroe Place to anyone who would feel more comfortable and confident in a smaller facility.
