Don't bring your loved ones here...They'll end your loved ones lives quicker.. like what they did to my dearly loved great grandmother...

My Grandmother has been living at the Assisted Living part of Sacred Heart from almost 3 years now. I'm 2,000 miles away, but Katy and Megan communicate with me anytime I need them or have questions/concerns about her care and her health. My grandma tells me all the time she is so happy there and the staff is so sweet and helpful to her. It's wonderful to know she's able to maintain her independence and have caring and supportive health care professionals on site every day.

This used to be a wonderful facility but after having gone thru a couple of new owners and several new administrators, the care now is very poor. They are understaffed and use poorly-trained, uncaring CNAs. Most of the quality employees have left for better jobs. Thank God a few good employees have stayed but they can't begin to make up for the loss of so many good workers. The owners and administrators do not support those employees who are trying to restore this home to its once- high standards.

My mother was recently in this nursing home. The comments we read online in advance sounded promising. We had heard they had a good reputation. It didn't work out that way for her.She went there for the rehab therapies and they were good but there were issues with nursing care and dietary. The nursing staff appeared to be short staffed. If your family member can't wait 30-45 mins to go to the bathroom or if they need pain medication in less than 30 mins, this may not be the place for your family member. The dietary dept was not interested in hearing our concerns about her nutrition or the pain that seemed related to it. We were told she'll adjust. When we asked to speak to the doctor supervising her care, it never happened. I hope things improve for this facility.
