I have only positive things to say about Countryside. My dad was of very advanced age and his care during the last year of his life was challenging and complex. He would go from assisted living, to the hospital, to Countryside for rehab, then back to assisted living for a while and the cycle would start over again...more than once. It's a comfort for me to know they would work hard to have a bed for him and consistent care with each admission. Was it always perfect? No, but it was always good and took a great deal of stress off me as his only immediate family member. Someone from the front office would always take my inquiries and the staff would talk to me patiently. Whatever dad needed, he got and they helped me too. Clothing and laundry are always going to have problems but I recommend their care to anyone.

I love how they have their own staff giving them positive reviews. It's the only way they get them. Terrible facility ran by a terrible company. Faking reviews here is just an example of their ethics. They only care about money and from the Home Office down the entire company is just horrible. It's no wonder things there are so bad.

My father has resided here for the past year or so. Within that year, his clothes and other belongings consistently go missing. Recently, his fan we bought for him has vanished as well. The workers always claim to have no idea as to where his belongings have gone. When management was confronted about the fan, they showed no signs of care or sympathy, repeating the phrase 'I don't know'. They keep inventory sheets for the residents as well, and they didn't know where my fathers was at either. If the management of this home doesn't care about the belongings of their residents, then this establishment is NOT fit to take care of the elderly. My father has also had a few run ins with staff treating him poorly and in demeaning ways. When we've gone to get him out for a while, he did not want to go back simply because of how he was being treated. Countryside is too expensive to keep your family in while also dealing with these problems. If you're looking for a good, safe place for a family member to reside at, please look elsewhere.
