Do not bring your loved ones here. Especially if they have Alzheimers or dementia. The CNAs are not trained well in geriatrics and often times do not care enough to do their jobs. This place could be great if they would hire better trained CNAs who actually want to work with this population.

I currently left heritage woods of Plainfield..The residents and my co workers are amazing! it once was a great place to work until they hired new management into the building..Tim ONeill was a huge mistake the company made! Ive never met someone so arrogant, and ignorant to staff and residents! Hes always on the phone like hes too good to talk to anyone in the building. You cant complain to corporate because Joli and Tim are great friends so he says. Heritage woods once was the best place Ive ever worked, they maintained staff because we were treated great and we were like a family, but now you have to watch out for the people that Tim has spying on you to try and get you fired. I really hope they find good staffing that will stay but knowing how much management changed for the worse, I doubt they will! I really suggest no one applies here, there are way better places out there!

My mother has been in and out of several retirement, independent and assisted living facilities over the course of 15 years. Currently, my mother is the happiest I've seen her in those 15 years. The staff are fabulous, to say the least. The staff have been giving the leadership and guidance to provide the best services to my mom as well as the other residents. My mother has lived at Heritage Woods of Plainfield for the last 3 years and as stated above, she is the happiest I've seen her in the last 15 years.
