Lutheran Hillside Village - Lutheran Senior Services

This is by far the absolute best retirement community in the Central Illinois area! This place is the best from the buildings to the staff! No other retirement community offers such high quality living conditions and care than Lutheran Hillside Village!

The Reach unit doesn't seem to have the staff it needs!When someone comes in there and is NOT gotten up to walk for a week...somebody has' dropped the ball'...if you get what I mean!

Awesome place

I wanted to share my experience at Lutheran Hillside Village. I moved my dad into assisted-living in August 2018. He just passed away in March 2019. I cant say enough about how great the experience was from beginning to end. Im gonna name names, they all deserve recognition! From the start, with Denise in marketing, she was friendly, thorough, and inspired confidence. Dads nursing staff Tobi, Janet and Ashley were all wonderfully patient with him and his requests, and always took the time to fill me in on details and answer all of my questions. Sarah Kaufmann, the director of assisted-living, Rita Lewis in the office and Sarah, the activities director, all took a personal interest in my dad and helped me immensely! Shelly Heiden, the executive director is one class act! After my dad passed away, Chaplain Patrick Monroe was there to help in any way he could offering his services if we needed it. Shellie Heiden, Sarah Kaufmann and Patrick Monroe all attended my dads visitation, which to me was way above and beyond the call of duty. And last but not least when it came to my dads final billing, Randy Keller in finance was understanding, patient and non-pressuring. I couldnt ask for a better staff if I wouldve handpicked them myself! Thank you all for everything! Michelle Hammond
