Went to visit friend. She hadn't been showered in 3 days, also found several pills of medication laying on her chest. My friend was satisfied with food. Her night shirts are missing after 2 days. Used to work there yrs ago and quit due to behind the scenes care and concerns. Doesn't seem like much has changed, unfortunately. Its now 5 days later. Still visiting friend after 1 week. Things have gotten much better.. The facility smells and looks clean.,so I raised it 2 stars,and staff did seem more helpful.

Ive worked here for about 5 months & it has been such a great change from my previous job. The faculty are so kind to new coming people & make sure you feel at home. And of course, the residents are awesome & they make it so easy to want to Come to work everyday.

Very family oriented! Great staff! Atmosphere is wonderful! Most always dislike when they come due to not being at home, but they adapt well and get the care they need! Customer service is great!

My Brother was on Hospice care at home and the family was taking turns providing home care around the clock to meet his needs. Near the end of his life we needed more care then the family could provide and the hospice service offered a respite stay so that the family may get some rest. We chose Accolade Health care of Paxton Senior Living for his final days because of the staff who were extremely attentive and professional in their care. The facility is clean and it felt like we were at home. We loved how they provided the family with a snack basket and coffee so that we could remain at the side of our loved one. The staff was very kind, knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate with the grieving process as we were with our loved one in his last days. They offered an open dining concept which provided a menu that allowed our family member to pick and choose his meal. The Staff was very attentive to not only my brother but, to our familys needs as we were dealing with the grieving process before and after he passed away. I would recommend Accolade to anyone looking for a place that truly cares about the people that live in their facility. They have wonderful food, activities, therapy services, and truly kind, caring and knowledgeable staff. Thank you Accolade for taking such amazing care of my brother in his last days. Best place I have been to by far. Accolade give amazing resident centered care. It is alway clean. Fun activities are always going on. The food is made to order with lots of choices and served hot. The staff is always helpful and does a great job.

Everyone that works at Accolade has treated our son wonderfully since he was admitted by his wife in January. It was hard for him to be away from his boys and in a nursing home at age 31, but his progressive form of ms had him needing 24/7 care. The entire staff has made our son, along with my husband and I, feel like part of a family. They have gone out of their way to interact with him so he wouldn't feel so out of place among the other older residents. They have a very clean facility with lots of activities and a variety of foods to eat at mealtimes along with individuals that perform the therapies he needs. We never worry about how our son is being taken care of when we can't be there. We would definitely recommend this facility if your loved one needs a place to stay.

Ive worked at this facility for a year as an activity aid. I love all of my coworkers. We are a great team. The residents are very kind. I feel as if my coworkers and residents are family because we all care for eachother and if I ever needed to have a loved one put into a nursing home, I would definitely pick this building.
