i worked at this location for 5 months the way they treat their residents is inhuman and unacceptable. The Reminiscence Coordinator basically ignore my constant ask for help when it came to her staff neglecting and abusing residents. She was more concerned about her friends having a job then the health and safety of the residents. A resident was left with bowel movement thru out his bed and bathroom. Staff are suppose to do rounds about 8:30pm or 9:00pm, the actual time the do rounds 6:00pm, lets keep in mind the next shift wont start until 10pm. Night shift rounds start at 11:30 or 12:00 and they must be checked every 2hrs. With this being said the disable man who is confound to a wheel chair who has memory lost and has delusions was not that important. He was left in his room for 5-6hrs n these conditions.

I do homecare outside of this place.The staph is amazing to the residents. They do everything they can to make everyone and their visitors happy and comfortable. They all greet by name, they are always watching and assist when they need help, they talk to them so respectfully and sympathize with their needs. There is always something to do, and have the best entertainers. It is very clean and organized also. I visit alot of places but this one is the best by far.

I had my Aunt and my Mother in Law stay at Sunrise of Palos Park and both experiences have been everything I could have hoped for in an assisted living community. The staff are wonderful, caring people who I felt truly loved what they were doing. I felt so reassured that both my loved ones were being taken care of. I owe everything to Sunrise and I can speak for the rest of my family that we were very happy with the choice we made...I 100% recommend this community to families!
