Im a caregiver that works for a resident that lives here at the Heartis Community. Activities for everyone, food for everyone and everything from religion to healthcare is important here. The relationships between the physicians and the residents here are similar to the Doctor and patient relationship to the ones at your home. Food is different as any menu in the south suburbs, quality of the food is outstanding and portions are really well.

I have a good friend who lives at this community. She tells me how great the activities are. Shes made many friends while living there. I have eaten there and the food is restaurant quality! She tells me how the caregivers are attentive and friendly.

This is NOT the place you want for your loved ones. I am convinced they are trying to kill my grandmother. They have lied to us time and time again, have given my grandmother unnecessary treatments that were NEVER discussed with our family leading to outrageous medical bills, and have stolen things from her room. They are supposed to deliver her medications to her 4 times throughout the day and they consistently FORGET to give her all the doses of her medications. Without these medications she could die. That is completely unacceptable. Do not trust this place, the staff is incompetent at their jobs, and you are putting your loved ones at risk by having them here.

Good luck getting staff to answer pages in a timely fashion. Your loved ones will be stolen from. Staff turnover constant.

Parents moved in to this beautiful building and systems and procedures are a MESS
